APLICATION
Before starting, make sure your dog has plenty of fresh water available, and a reward on hand to encourage good behavior.
Wet your dog’s toothbrush and sprinkle on some Canine Clean Dental Scrub. Gently brush the entire surface of their teeth and gums for about 20s before moving onto the next area. Use the dental scrub once a day to promote strong oral health.
Application Tips:
Step 1: Gently pet & scratch your dog’s muzzle, slowly lifting the lip for about 30 seconds. Reward with a treat at the end of every session.
Step 2: Repeat Step 1, except this time, gently run your finger over your pet’s teeth for 20-30 seconds. Once again, reward and praise upon completion.
Step 3: Sprinkle a small amount of Canine Clean Dental Scrub on a moistened toothbrush allowing your pet to lick it. We’re not brushing just yet!
Step 4: If all is going well, now you can begin to try the brushing process. Remember, the upper and outer surfaces of your dog’s mouth are the most important, so be sure to gently yet thoroughly brush each side for about 20-30 seconds.
If your pet is resistant at any step of the teeth-brushing routine, stop and try again another day. It may take some pets a few weeks to get through all of the steps.
